The Contract Lyophilization Services is distinguished by its innovative application of freeze-drying technology on a scale unsurpassed in the world.
We offer both cGMP or food grade (HACCP) process environments for scale-up and commercial production of non-sterile materials.
CAPACITIES (kilograms to metric tonnes)
Our cGMP facility features two-1000 square foot lyophilizers capable of condensing up to 1.5 mT of ice.
Our food grade (HACCP) facilities offer 12-1000 square foot lyophilizers with equivalent condensing capacity
In addition, our facilities in Denmark and UK off GMP capacity fo similar products.
We are able to provide freezing format options based on product requirements.
a. Cryogenic Pelletization.
b. Chamber Freezing on bulk trays
c. Chamber Freezing in blister packs.
d. Cold Room Freeziing on racks.
Multiple Dhumidified and HVAC controlled rooms allow bulk and unit packaging of products under 99% ASRAE conditions.

We completely understand the issues involved with selecting and procuring the approprate vapor or oxygen barrier necessary to provide shelf stability. We have the experience and confidence from developing blisters, multi-laminate pouches for gram quantities, to bulk foil bags for multi-kilograms that can translate rapid commercialization

CHEMICALS
We freeze-dry specialty and pharmaceutical chemicals out of aqueous solutions and suspensions, water / alcohol mixtures, and hydrocarbons. Significant economic benefits can be realized through improvements in dispersibility, surface area, retention of functional morphology, primary particle size, and yield. |
MEDICAL DEVICES
In the medical realm, we have applied our technology to collagen, hydrogel, and polymeric materials to create a lyophilized structure that serves as delivery platform. Wound dressings are one example of this. |
